A suicide blast took place at the Kabul International Cricket Stadium in Afghanistan’s Kabul during the Shpageeza Cricket League T20. All players were rushed inside a bunker.
The blast happened when a match was on between Band-e-Amir Dragons and Pamir Zalmi. Officials from the United Nations were present at the stadium when the attack happened.
The Shpageeza Cricket League, an IPL-style professional T20 league, was established by the Afghanistan Cricket Board in 2013.
