After Meeting PM Modi, Rishi Sunak Announces 3,000 UK Visas For Indians


New Delhi: Soon after Rishi Sunnak’s meeting with Prime Minister Modi at the G20 Summit, 3,000 UK visas were announced for Indias by the New UK Prime Minister. A tweet from his official handle said, “Today the UK-India Young Professionals Scheme was confirmed, offering 3,000 places to 18–30 year-old degree educated Indian nationals to come to the UK to live and work for up to two years.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak spoke on the first day of the G20 Summit in Bali, according to Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), news agency ANI reported.

This is for the first time, that PM Modi is meeting with his British countrepart Rishi Sunak. 

Taking to Twitter, PMO India stated: “Prime Ministers @narendramodi and @RishiSunak in conversation during the first day of the @g20org Summit in Bali.”
