New Delhi: Shadab Khan, an all-around player for Pakistan, had a bad game against Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup final on Sunday in Dubai. On social media, Pakistani supporters continuously trolled him for not playing well in the Asia cup final. He is now the “star” of a meme created by the Delhi Police, although to encourage safe driving and road safety.

Delhi Police is known for using memes to raise awareness of traffic laws, phishing attacks, and cybercrimes are at it again. In a tweet about road safety that is now popular on social media, the Delhi Police made fun of the Pakistan cricket team for missing a catch in the Asia Cup finals.

In the Tweet posted by Delhi police, you can hear the iconic song “ae Bhai, Zara dekh Ke Chalo” which is playing in the background when the players Asif Ali and Shadab Khan collide while trying to drop off a babysitter. Both fielders were concentrating on the ball while attempting to make the catch.

No one was able to take the catch as they collided with one another. Even worse, it was a 6 since the ball rebounded off the fielders’ hands and onto the other side of the boundary! In the Asia Cup championship match against the victorious Sri Lankan squad, Shadab Khan missed multiple catches. Pakistan lost a lot of runs in the final five overs as a result of the missed catches.

When Shadab dropped the left-handed Rajapaksa off the bowling of Haris Rauf, he was on 46 runs. When Shadab and Asif collided, the ball went over the ropes and gave the batsman a six. He was 51 at the time. Rajapaksa scored an unbeaten 71 off 45 balls to help Sri Lanka reach 170/6 in the end.
