‘Babar Azam Hamari Or Pakistan Ki Shan Hai’

The England cricket team outplayed Pakistan by 3-0 in the first Test series they featured in about two decades. Ben Stokes led-team defeated the hosts on day 4 in Karachi by eight wickets. Post defeat, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam has been facing a lot of criticism for his team’s ordinary run across the series. However, Pakistan speedster Shaheen Shah Afridi came in support of Babar.

Shaheen took to social media and wrote, “Babar Azam hamari or Pakistan ki Shan, jaan or pehchan hai. Wo Hamara kaptaan hai or rahe ga. Kuch or #sochnabhimanah hai (Babar Azam is our’s and Pakistan’s pride, power and identity. He is our captain and will remain so. Don’t even think otherwise).”

Babar scored 348 runs in six outings in the series against England.

He further added, “Please support this team. Yahi team hame jitaye gi bhi. Kahani abhi Khatam nahi howi (This team will help us win as well. The story isn’t over yet).”

As of now, Pakistan are ranking seven in the World Test Championship points table. England on the other hand are fifth in the list.
