CWG 2022 India Women vs Barbados Women Live Updates: Chasing a total of 163, Barbados are two wickets down against India. Earlier, Jemimah Rodrigues hit an unbeaten 56 to help India post a total of 162 for four against Barbados in a women’s cricket Group A match in the ongoing Commonwealth Games at Edgbaston Cricket Ground. Shafali Verma also hit a counter-attacking 43 after Smriti Madhana was dismissed for cheap. Harmanpreet Kaur was dismissed on a golden duck as India were reduced to 92 for four. Jemimah and Deepti Sharma (34) adding an unbeaten 70 runs for the fifth wicket to take India past the 160-run mark. Earlier, Barbados won the toss and elected to bowl against India. This is a do-or-die game for the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side as a defeat will see them bow out of the event in the group stage. After narrowly losing to Australia, a game which they had dominated for the majority, India then defeated Pakistan to get their campaign back on track. Meanwhile, a win would take Barbados to the semifinals, alongside Group A toppers Australia. Pakistan are out of the equation, having ended their campaign with three defeats in as many games.
