Delhi man’s dead body found stuffed in fridge

The man was living alone while his wife and children lived at some distance from his house.

Delhi Police found a dead man’s body stuffed inside a fridge in his home on Friday night. The man was identified as Zakir (50) who resided in Delhi’s Gautampuri.

The incident came to light after the police received a call on Friday which said the caller found her relative dead inside a fridge after she went to check on him because he did not pick up her calls.

Assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Devraj along with other officials reached the spot and found that the man’s dead body was stuffed inside the fridge and it could be seen from a small opening on the fridge door.

A crime team and a forensic team were called to inspect the crime scene.

Police said the deceased was living alone in the house while his wife and children were living separately at some distance from the place.

A case has been registered and further investigations are underway. Police said they might have a suspect.
