Officials ordered fishermen to return to the coast from deep water areas as cyclone “Biparjoy” moved northward and remained located about 900 km south-southwest of Gujarat’s Porbandar district. They also ordered ports to hoist the Distant Warning signal (DW II). In coastal areas of the state, light showers and thunderstorms are anticipated as a result of this year’s first cyclone in the Arabian Sea.
