India Set To Take On Windies

India vs West Indies 1st ODI Live: Hello and welcome to live coverage of Ind vs WI 1st ODI.

The first match of the three-match ODI series between India and West Indies will be played on 22 July at the Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain Stadium in Trinidad. The next two matches of this three-match series are to be played at the same ground on July 22 and 27.

After beating England 2-1 in the ODI series, Team India will be eyeing to beat the Windies.  India has not lost any series in the West Indies for the last 15 years, so the eyes of Team India will be on continuing the winning campaign.  However, before the start of the series, many challenges have come up for Team India.

The players had to practice behind closed doors due to bad weather, while vice-captain Ravindra Jadeja got injured before the start of the series.  It is not known how serious Jadeja’s injury is. Dhawan told a day before the match that Jadeja was troubled by the injury.

Team India’s regular skipper Rohit Sharma is not a part of this team. Apart from him, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant and Jasprit Bumrah are also not available for this series. Ishan Kishan is part of this tour, but he will probably be out of the playing XI.
