Gauri Khan recently redesigned filmmaker and friend Karan Johar’s Mumbai home, glimpses from which she shared in her latest Instagram video. In the video, Karan Johar says, “Welcome to my home Gauri, all because of you. Love it, love. Can’t wait to move in.” We got a glimpse of the entrance as well as the living area of Karan Johar’s home. Gauri Khan captioned the post: “One of my most cherished projects…This one was dear to my heart because of all that it brought with it… And of course, it represents the OG in the world of glamour – Karan Johar.”

In the comments section of Gauri Khan’s post, Karan Johar wrote: “My home is all you! Couldn’t have asked for a more aesthetic force than you! The best you are Gauri! Love you.”

Last month, Gauri Khan re-designed the Mannat nameplate. She shared a picture of herself standing next to it and she wrote: “The main door of your home is the entry point for your family and friends. So the name plate attracts positive energy… we chose a transparent material with glass crystals that emit a positive, uplifting and calm vibe. #GauriKhanDesigns.”

Gauri Khan is an interior decorator and she owns the plush Gauri Khan Designs in Mumbai. She has given makeovers to several suburban Mumbai restaurants and celebrity homes over the years. She has decorated homes for several Bollywood A-listers such as Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Karan Johar among others. She has designed restaurants like Arth and Sanchos. She also designed Alia Bhatt’s vanity van. Other than that, she is a film producer and made her debut as an author 2 years ago.

Karan Johar and Gauri Khan’s husband Shah Rukh Khan have been friends for the longest time. SRK starred in many of Karan Johar films ever since he made his debut as a director with Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in 1998. KJo has directed Shah Rukh in films such as Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and My Name Is Khan. Karan Johar was Shah Rukh’s co-star in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.
