Open-air memorial will offer Audio Books & Art on Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh in Chhattisgarh

Raipur: Chhattisgarh’s Baloda Bazar district administration is setting up a cutting-edge open-air memorial honouring the son of the land Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh in order to realise the goal and vision of the chief minister Bhupesh Baghel. The state is observing the death anniversary of Veer Narayan Singh on Saturday.
The museum has been carved out in the foothills of Kurupath and it will offer Audio Books & Art panels for visitors. The audiobook containing the life and glory of Veer Narayan has been produced in three distinct languages. The primary goal of the audiobook and animation series, which are both available on tablets, is to familiarise listeners with the story of Veer Narayan Singh’s contributions to the world. It is worth highlighting that the open-air museum’s structure is made of local stones and blends. The museum also has recreational activities for visitors like a park, restaurants, souvenir shops and a kids’ play area.
The premises also has machan huts and a yoga pavilion to boost Sonakhan and Chhattisgarh Tourism. The museum extension has Homestays and riverside camping as a part of the development circuit. The Sonakhan Project is aimed at providing livelihood opportunities to locals and opening up a new career avenue for the youth of Sonakhan.
The Sonakhan Tourist Circuit will serve as a one-stop centre for the natives and the tourist to learn and enjoy the glorious history of the region and Chhattisgarh.
Baloda Bazar district collector Rajat Bansal said, “The gatha of Veer Narayan is a representation of our illustrious past. It is crucial to share his tale with the general audience. The Sonakhan Circuit will be a supplement to the Chhattisgarh Tourism Circuit and support the creation of jobs in the area through Self Help Groups.”
