Pawar Attends Mega Rally At Fatehabad, Calls For Collective Work To Ensure Power Change In 2024

As several opposition leaders gathered on one stage in Fatehabad on Sunday, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) supremo Sharad Pawar said the time has come for everyone to work together to ensure a change of government at the Centre in 2024. In response to the uproar over the Agri laws, he stated that farmers committing suicide is not a solution and that the real solution would be a change in government. Among those who attended the rally were Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Shiromani Akali Dal’s Sukhbir Singh Badal.

Farmers staged protests on the outskirts of the national capital, but the central government ignored their demands for a long time, according to Pawar, who spoke at a mega rally organised by the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) in Fathegabad, Haryana.

Farmers and youths committing suicide, according to Pawar, are not a solution; the real solution is to bring about a change, and everyone must strive for a change of government at the Centre in 2024.

He claimed that the central government had promised to withdraw cases filed against farmer leaders but had yet to do so.

At the same rally, Nitish Kumar called for the unification of all non-BJP parties, including the Congress and the Left, to oppose the BJP, claiming that this “main front of opposition” would ensure the saffron party’s defeat in the 2024 general elections.

Kumar also stated that he was not running for prime minister.

“There is no such thing as a Third Front. If there is a united front that includes the Congress, we will be able to defeat the BJP in 2024 “He continued.

Bihar’s deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav said the BJP earlier used to sing ‘menhgayi daayan maar gayi’ (price rise is killing every one), but now ‘menhgayi’ has become its ‘bhoujayi’ (sister-in-law).
