But Ram Charan has promised that if the song gets an Oscar, he and Jr NTR wouldn’t mind dancing on ‘Naatu Naatu’ 17 times on stage. Charan was asked in an interview with NBP podcast if they would dance on the Oscar’s stage. To which, the actor replied that, if they’re going to give them the award then they will do it 17 times back again! While the song got such appreciation, Ram Charan and Jr NTR, danced their hearts out in ‘Naatu Naatu’ and were lauded for their perfect steps and synchronisation.
Earlier in an interview, Charan had said that it was a beautiful torture to dance for ‘Naatu Naatu’. He laughed that his knees still wobble talking about it but it was a beautiful torture and they’re standing at the Golden Globe red carpet, thanks to the song.
‘RRR’ was also nominated in the ‘Best Non English Language Film’ category but it lost to ‘Argentina 1985’.
