Redmi A1 Launching In India Next Month, Expected Specs, Features, Design And More


The Redmi A1 model is launching in India the next month as an affordable smartphone. According to reports, the Redmi A1 would be an entry-level device with specs and features that have been mostly leaked. Its specs include flat edges and it would arrive in three colourways, suggest rumours.

The Redmi A1 smartphone has been spotted on multiple certification websites so far. It has been spotted on both FCC and BIS certification websites.

Apart from flat edges and rounded corners, the Redmi A1 would be launching in the country in October during the upcoming “Diwali With Mi” sale.

Expected features and specs of Redmi A1

In terms of camera design, the Redmi A1 would come with a square-shaped camera module with rounded corners. In terms of build, there would be a polycarbonate body, which is the case with most of the affordable smartphones launching in the country now.

The Redmi A1 is likely to launch three colour variants: black, green, and blue.

In terms of display, the Redmi A1 would feature a 6.52-inch HD+ panel with an aspect ratio of 20:9.Β Other expected specs of the Redmi A1 include a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor paired with 3GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The device would run Android 12 OS out of the box. Since the Redmi A1 would be an affordable device, it would be placed along with the Redmi 9A and Redmi 10A smartphones. Some reports suggest that the Redmi A1 would be a rebranded version of the Poco C50 for the Indian market, accorsing to the IMEI database listing.
