According to the latest report in a news portal, Dutt has been roped in for Thalapathy Vijay’s next untitled film with Lokesh Kanagaraj. While Vijay will be seen essaying the role of a gangster in the film, Dutt will be playing the antagonist.
The actor is also being paid a whopping amount of Rs 10 crore to be a part of the film. The Bollywood actor’s presence will add a Pan India flavour to this film, a source told Pinkvilla.
The film is expected to be Vijay’s biggest release in the Hindi market. It will reportedly go on floors by October or November this year. Buzz is also that Prithviraj too will be playing a negative role in the Lokesh Kanagaraj film. However, he is yet to sign the dotted lines.
The makers will reportedly be targeting a Diwali 2023 release for the film. It would be the second release of the year for Vijay after ‘Varisu’, which is slated for a January 2023 release.
