Most temples across the country will remain closed including Badrinath-Kedarnath to Turpuati temple except Ujjain’s famous Mahakaleshwar Temple as the country will witness the last solar eclipse of the year today. There will be a partial solar eclipse which shall be visible from western Asia, northern Africa, most regions of Europe, the Middle East, and the regions covering the North Atlantic Ocean and the North Indian Ocean.
It is not recommended to watch the eclipsed sun even for a short time with the naked eye. Even if the moon hides the majority of the sun, it will still cause lifelong eye damage and blindness.
