Sri Lanka Take On Pakistan In Title Clash

PAK vs SL Live: Hello and welcome to ABP Live’s coverage of Sri Lanka vs Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2022 final being played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Babar Azam-led Pakistan cricket team will feature in their final clash of the Asia Cup T20 tournament against Sri Lanka on Sunday, September 11.

‘Underdogs’ Sri Lanka, a nation currently battling financial crisis and facing the worst democratic turmoil in its history, tonight have a chance to give its fans a rare chance to celebrate but against them stands a strong Pakistani team in the Asia Cup Final 2022 at Dubai International Stadium on Sunday.

Dasun Shanaka-led Sri Lanka is in a way the host of the Asia Cup but due to security reasons, it could not organize it in its home country and hence the United Arab Emirates got the opportunity to organize this tournament.

Sri Lanka is engaged in reviving its cricket. The team wants to make a mark in a format in which they became the world champions in 2014.  Sri Lanka’s cricket has been battling with poor selection and politics within the board for some time now but it looks like its players have changed their attitude and added aggression to T20 cricket.

Sri Lanka have won the Asia Cup title five times so far and are the second most successful team in the tournament. On the other hand, Pakistan has won the Asia Cup twice so far and now its eyes are on winning this title for the third time.
