CGS Prelims Admit Card 2023: The Union Public Service Commission has released the UPSC Combined Geo Scientists Preliminary Examination Admit Card 2023. The candidates who have registered for the exam can download their CGS hall ticket from the official website at upsc.gov.in.
As per the schedule, the CGS Prelims will be conducted on February 19, 2023 in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM and second shift from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The first shift will be for Paper-I (Code No.1) General Studies which is common for all. While, the second shift will be for Paper-II [Code No.2] Stream specific subject Paper.

How to download UPSC CGS Admit Card 2023
Step 1. Visit the official website at upsc.gov.in
Step 2. On the homepage, go to ‘What’s New’ section
Step 3. Click on the link that reads, “e – Admit Card: Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary) Examination, 2023”
Step 4. A new page will open, login using your registration number or roll number
Step 5. Your CGS hall ticket will open on the screen
Step 6. Check all the details mentioned in the admit card
Step 7. Download and take a printout of the CGS admit card for the date of examination

Important Instructions
Bring this e-Admit card (print out) along with the (original) Photo Identity Card, whose number is mentioned in the e-Admit Card , in each session to secure admission to Examination Hall. E-Admit Card must be preserved till the declaration of the final results.
Candidates should note that any omission/ mistake/ discrepancy in encoding/ filling in details in the OMR answer sheet, especially with regard to Roll Number and Test Booklet Series Code, will render the answer sheet liable for rejection.
Reach the Examination Venue at least one hour before closing of the entry Gate as all candidates have to undergo the mandatory Biometric Attendance and scanning of QR Code on e-Admit Card. Entry to the Examination Venue closes 10 minutes prior to the scheduled commencement of the Examination in each session.
You are instructed not to apply any item like Mehandi etc. on finger(s) which may cause hindrance in capturing Biometric Attendance.
Mobile Phones, Calculators, IT Gadgets, smart watches (including digital watches) and any other Communication device such as Bluetooth etc. are not allowed inside the premises where the examination is being conducted.
There will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the objective type Question Papers.
Answers other than those made by Black Ball Point Pen would not be evaluated.
Candidates who do not have clear photographs on the e-admit card will have to bring a photo identity proof viz. Aadhar Card, Driving License, Passport, Voter ID etc. and two passport size photographs one for each session for appearing in the examination with an undertaking.
Wearing of mask/face cover is mandatory for all candidates. Candidates without mask/face cover will not be allowed entry into the Venue.
