Workshop on STEM Education Held

PUNE: Students of The Academy School (TAS), Pune, recently hosted a workshop that was coined, conceptualised and conducted by them for fellow students and those from other schools across the city. The workshop mainly focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education which is an interdisciplinary approach to studies that focuses on hands-on, problem-based learning, said a statement issued by the school.
The workshop included interesting things such as information regarding what is the first technological invention, when did technology start, top inventions of all time, future of technology, scientific temper, chemical engineering, and several other things were being showcased in live format in the workshop held at the TAS premises, added the statement.
“The workshop is completely the students achievement. This is what we mean when we say we create an environment for a student wherein they can apply what they learn and also come up with their own ideas and ways to look at things,” said Dr Maithili Tambe, CEO, TAS in the statement.
